heroyne: You choose jewellery with your eyes and pay with trust

heroyne sells handmade fine jewellery in solid gold or sterling silver, with diamonds, through Shopify in several countries, from engagement rings and wedding bands to personalised pieces. At this price point, the decision takes shape over several visits and devices. We worked to make sure each of those visits moves the decision forward.

The purchase matures on the second visit

An engagement ring is a weighty decision. Customers look at a piece on their phone, maybe show it to someone, compare on a laptop and come back days later. For the shop, that means the first visit sparks interest and the second carries the decision. Trust comes from details the shop can deliberately bring to the front.

Personalised pieces offer a special opportunity. Engraving, size or individual requests are the strongest argument for a piece that exists only once. How the shop presents this customisation helps decide whether visitors see it as effort or as a reason to buy. Presented well, it makes people want their own piece.

Designing the way back to the shop

We work directly with heroyne, supported by a Meta ad account we manage on an ongoing basis. One question is at the centre: how does a visitor come back, and what do they need to see then to make a decision? The answer shapes what ads and product pages have to do.

Advertising plays its part in bringing people back. Campaigns that re-engage past visitors are a fixed part of the buying journey for high-value jewellery. On the second visit, different things matter than on the first: details on materials and craftsmanship, sizing guidance, and confidence about shipping and returns. For personalised pieces, we looked at how to present the customisation so it feels like a promise. When you see it, you should already picture your own piece.

High-value purchases deserve a second chance

In our view, high-end jewellery shops gain a lot when they design the second visit as carefully as the first. That is where most decisions are made. If you know what a returning visitor needs, you can tailor product pages and ads to it. Personalisation is a powerful tool when it comes across as the chance to own a unique piece. It helps to plan for the journey across several devices, because research often starts on a phone and the decision is made later on a laptop.
