BEAUĒTAL builds trust in a young skincare brand
BEAUĒTAL sells vegan facial care for sensitive and irritated skin on Shopify, from cleansing foam and toner to hyaluronic serum and masks. The brand is young and speaks to a clear audience. People buy skincare from brands they trust, and that trust is what we build, deliberately.
I'll show you where your shop loses buyers.
A young brand in a trust category
New brands in cosmetics start with an open stage: customers are only just getting to know them. With sensitive skin, that counts twice. Anyone who has reacted to products before is happy to try something new when skin compatibility is well explained. This is exactly where a young brand can score with openness and clear information.
In this category, trust comes from other customers' reviews and from explanations people understand. At the same time a young brand needs reach, and reach costs budget. With trust on the page, reach turns into demand. With clean measurement, every budget decision is well founded. These topics interlock, so we tackle them together. Each one makes the others more effective.
Three areas, one shared rhythm
We worked on three areas in parallel. For trust, the job is to make reviews visible and place them right where questions come up, for example about skin compatibility. For explanation, we created editorial content on anti-ageing and skin topics. It sits ahead of the product pages and reaches people searching long before they ask for a particular brand.
Tech is the third area. Conversion tracking runs through Tag Manager, plus the Meta pixel and campaigns. Every budget decision rests on data, and you can see clearly which campaigns bring buyers and which mostly bring clicks. We added a flow for basket abandoners. With new brands in particular, many customers hesitate just before buying, and a good reminder gives the final nudge.
Trust and measurement belong together
Young brands often work through one topic after another. In trust categories like skincare, we recommend tackling several areas at once. Reviews and measurement interlock: reviews make reach work, measurement shows which reach is worth paying for. Start early in every area and you learn faster what convinces customers. For new brands, a basket reminder belongs in from day one. It catches customers at the very moment they are thinking it over.
