Case Study · E-Mobility
Whoever orders the datasheet sets the standard
SoFlow sells its own e-scooters and light e-mobility, in its own shop and through retail partners. Buyers compare datasheets, often against competitors who stress different figures. That is a real opportunity, because whoever makes things comparable sets the criteria.
I'll show you where your shop loses buyers.
Datasheets everyone reads differently
With an e-scooter, buyers compare range and weight, plus motor power and top speed. Every maker puts forward the values where it shines. The buyer faces a sea of numbers and looks for orientation, and not every value explains itself. Whoever brings order here wins their trust.
Selling through retail partners at the same time raises a second question. Why should anyone buy in the brand's shop when the same model is at a retailer? The product page can answer that with confidence, and in a way that leaves the retail partners looking good. A brand shop and strong retail can support each other.
The details that carry the purchase
We focused the product page on the details that actually decide the purchase. That includes checking which technical values customers understand and which they skip. Where a value is important but needs explaining, it gets a short note of context. The goal is a page where buyers can calmly compare the values that matter to them, on criteria SoFlow sets itself.
The second question concerns the sales channel. We worked out what only the manufacturer can offer and how to show that on the page. Every brand that also sells through retail faces this question, and each finds its own answer. One clear line applies: retail partners remain a valuable part of the business, and the page treats them with respect.
Make things comparable yourself
Makers of technical products often leave comparison to review sites and retailers. We see a big opportunity for anyone who takes it into their own hands. Explain on your own product page which values really count and you set the standards the competition is measured by too. With retail partners behind you, this takes tact. A good brand shop gives a reason to buy direct and still makes the retailer look good. That way the brand grows on both routes.
