Professionals search by grit and format
Schleifmeister24 sells abrasives and paint supplies, plus stainless steel workshop furniture, to paint shops and body shops. Its customers are professionals who reorder regularly, a strong foundation for any growth. They know grit and format, often the brand too, and value any shop that takes them straight to the item.
I'll show you where your shop loses buyers.
Customers who know exactly what they want
A body shop orders abrasives in a specific grit, a specific format, often from a specific brand. The knowledge is there. A category structure built for DIYers leads them in stages: first to sanding, then to product type, then at some point to grit. A structure that follows professional logic takes them straight to the goal.
For professionals who reorder, speed counts. They order where they found the item quickly last time, and they keep coming back. Then there is visibility on Google Shopping, where professionals compare prices and availability at a glance. That speed is a strength a specialist retailer can play to the full.
Three user tests and a clean Shopping setup
We started with positioning and a testing concept that sets out which questions the user tests should answer. Building on that, we ran three user tests of the shop. They show where professionals search differently from how the structure expects, and those points are the basis for further work on the shop. Testing with professionals quickly shows whether a structure follows the way they think.
In parallel we built the Shopping side. We set up Merchant Center, claimed the website and checked the range against the policies. Then we connected Ads and Analytics so every click from Google Shopping can be traced through to the order. Budget is allocated by data, and Google Shopping becomes a channel you can steer with precision.
Watch professionals before you rebuild for them
If you sell to professionals, your customers know exactly what they want, and that is a big advantage. In our view a user test with real professionals is almost always worth it before you rebuild categories. It reveals the search logic a DIY shop overlooks. For the Shopping setup we believe in a clear order: set up Merchant Center and policies cleanly first, then connect tracking, then release budget. That way every euro starts with a tailwind.
