A shop concept for buyers who know their datasheet
Netzteilshop24 sells power supplies and LED drivers, plus DIN rail power supplies, converters and inverters, mostly to businesses and technical professionals. These buyers know their datasheet. We rethought the shop so they reach the right component with confidence in just a few clicks.
I'll show you where your shop loses buyers.
Precision in a few clicks
Someone ordering a DIN rail power supply or an LED driver usually has a specific spec in front of them. The technical values are fixed before they open the shop. What this buyer wants most is certainty that the component matches the requirement. They look for complete data and unambiguous names.
With a broad technical range, that is the shop's big task and also its opportunity. Categories and product pages where a professional can narrow things down fast and order straight away are a strong reason to come back. Every click saved and every clear product name adds to that. In business, time is precious: often a project or a machine is waiting for the part.
From user test to wireframe
We began with a user test of the existing shop. We reviewed the recordings and, in parallel, analysed the data from Analytics and Shopify. That gives a picture from two sides: what users do and where they pause. The recordings show behaviour, the numbers show how common it is. Together they make every concept decision solid.
From this we developed a new shop concept as wireframes. First the header and footer of the homepage including navigation, then category and product pages, finally the mobile view. We presented and agreed each section before moving on to the next. After sign-off, the development team built the structure straight into Shopify. The concept went into the shop without detours, and the observations from the user test survived all the way into the build.
Professionals want clarity
B2B buyers with a clear spec stay with shops that save them work. With technical ranges, we think it pays to settle the structure first and talk about design afterwards. User tests reveal things no statistic shows, such as the exact point where a professional hesitates. Combine data and observation and your concept stands on firm ground. Sign it off section by section and it reaches the live shop quickly and under control.
